"Moving From Membership to Discipleship".

Welcome To Saint Mark's

We are a multicultural congregation, from diverse backgrounds and all walks of life. If you live in Wilmington, or just happen to be visiting the historic downtown area, join us, pray with us, and sing with us. You may be new to the Episcopal Church. Like you, there was a “first time” for each one of us.

Whatever brought you to St. Mark’s, we hope you will be found by God through our worship and friendly congregation. Visitors are welcome to attend worship services on Sunday. Please obtain a newcomer’s brochure from the ushers. Fill out the Guest Information Card and give them to our Senior Warden, Clarence Armbrister. We will add you to our mailing list. Please join us for refreshments in Jackson Hall following the worship service. We invite you to join our family here at St. Mark's.

All are welcome. Come join us!

Women Ministries

Women are the gate keepers for health in their families. Women who comprehend the value of enjoying optimum health will often inspire their family members, and communities to engage in healthy behaviors. In contrast, women with poor health often experience inadequate access to resources to achieve a minimal level of health. Consistent stressors have a negative impact on the psychological, physiological, spiritual, and financial dimensions of women’s health outcomes and increase their risks of developing other prolong health issues.

The vision of ECW is to bring together women on a quarterly basis to share health promotion activities that we use to enhance quality health practices. This approach to women’s and community empowerment will give us an opportunity to engage with each other, learn from each other and un-leach our power to change health damaging practices to health enhancing ones.

Youth Ministries

As our Sunday School continues to grow. We learn about the love that our Savior Jesus has for us and to pass that

love onto our family and neighbors. We want to show our young people the joy of being a member of St. Mark’s and learn about our Episcopal doctrine.  As always, “ Suffer (allow) the little children to come unto Me, and forbid them not for such is the Kingdom of Heaven”.

In keeping with service to our neighbors and faith, the Youth Ministry makes contributions to the Episcopal Relief and Development Organization towards the rebuilding efforts of Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina. We will keep them lifted in prayer as they continue to rebuild their lives.
